Fashion Designer

Utopia Brands is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Designer to lead the design and development of innovative apparel collections for the US retail and DTC market. This role requires a strong understanding of trend research, product development, fit, and commercial viability while collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring concepts to market efficiently. Develop seasonal apparel concepts, silhouettes, color palettes, and design direction aligned with brand strategy.Create CADs, sketches, tech packs, and design presentations for new product lines.Translate trend research into commercially viable products for the US market.Ensure designs meet fit, functionality, and quality standards.2. Work closely with technical design, sourcing, merchandising, and marketing teams to bring products from concept to launch.Coordinate with vendors and factories for sampling, materials, and product execution.Participate in fit reviews and product development discussions.4. Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related field3–5 years experience in apparel design or product developmentStrong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and CAD designExperience with tech packs, garment construction, and fabric knowledgeUnderstanding of US retail market and consumer trendsExcellent collaboration and communication skillsPreferred Skills
