Fashion Designer

Overview:

I am seeking a creative, detail-oriented Fashion Designer with a strong understanding of sports performance and culture—especially American football. This role is ideal for someone who can bridge high-level design with on-field functionality, helping us create standout sports apparel and football-specific accessories that elevate both performance and style.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop sports apparel collections, including training gear, lifestyle pieces, and football-specific garments

- Conceptualize and create football accessories (gloves, sleeves, headwear, etc.) with both performance and aesthetic in mind

- Source high-quality fabrics, trims, and materials suitable for athletic performance

- Work closely with manufacturers to develop samples, prototypes, and final production pieces

- Ensure all designs align with the brand identity, vision, and long-term strategy

- Stay ahead of trends in sportswear, streetwear, and football culture

- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to bring designs to life through campaigns and athlete integrations

- Oversee product development timelines from concept to production

Preferred Qualifications:

- Background in American football (player, coach, or strong familiarity with the game and athlete needs)

- Proven experience in fashion or sportswear design

- Strong knowledge of performance fabrics, garment construction, and sourcing

- Experience designing accessories (especially sports-related) is a major plus

- Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Tech Packs, etc.)

- Understanding of manufacturing processes and vendor communication

- Ability to balance creativity with functionality and scalability
