Fashion Designer

• Resumes without a portfolio link will be ignored * About Us: We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and highly collaborative Womenswear Designer to join our in-house team at our Garment District showroom. Key Responsibilities: • Design seasonal womenswear collections across swim, knits, wovens, RTW, and lifestyle apparel categories • Create original graphics, prints, placement artwork, and logos for garments and trims • Develop tech packs and CADs with accuracy and attention to detail • Research and present trend direction, fabric inspiration, color stories, and silhouettes • Collaborate with technical design and production to ensure fit and execution meets brand standards • Maintain and organize design files, sample library, and production artwork • Attend fittings, fabric shows, and vendor meetings as needed Requirements: • 2–5 years of experience in women’s apparel design (experience in contemporary or lifestyle brands strongly preferred) • Strong understanding of the womenswear market and current fashion trends • Proven design experience across multiple categories: swim, knits, wovens, and graphics • Excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills (Illustrator, Photoshop required; InDesign a plus) • Knowledge of garment construction, specs, and tech pack development • Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative showroom environment • Positive attitude, strong time management, and willingness to take creative direction • Must be based in NYC and able to work on-site full time in our Garment District showroom
