Fashion designer

• Understand the Lilly Pulitzer customer, lifestyle and positioning in the marketplace; • Develop innovative sweater fashion designs for the Lilly Pulitzer customer; • Research product development and product opportunities for Lilly Pulitzer... • Work closely and timely with product development, technical design, print design & merchandising to develop successful product; • Assist with Design Boards and Fashion Illustrations; • Perform Other Duties as may be required by Design. • The taste level and fashion sense to understand the Lilly Pulitzer customer and to design fashion merchandise, which appeals to the Lilly customer, primarily the customer who buys Womens merchandise. • The ability to interact effectively with your manager, the Manager of Fashion Design, Sweaters, the Senior Design Director Fashion, Trend, & Color, the EVP of Product Design and Development, and with several other departments, including sales, marketing, print design, merchandising, technical design and production. • This position may require up to one or two international trips per year of approximately four to eight days per trip. • This position is based in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia.
