Fashion Designer

We are seeking a talented and creative Fashion Designer with solid pattern making, and sewing skills and experience in RTW fashion apparel to join our team for a 1 month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your... skills and contribute to the launch of our mission-driven brand! Duties - Develop and create original design concepts for clothing and accessories - Use CAD software to create detailed technical drawings and specifications - Conduct market research to identify current trends and consumer preferences - Collaborate with the marketing team to discover local textile merchants and unique design techniques - You will have exceptional sewing skills, both hand stitching and machine-use, and be confident sewing with silks, cotton voile, linens and light wool - Utilize graphic design software, such as Adobe Illustrator, to create digital renderings of designs - Participate in fittings and make necessary adjustments to garments - Be confident and open to recording your work station and the production process, as we are delivering this limited batch collection for social media 'drops' Education is embedded in all our marketing objectives, including the introduction of our in-house destination-based line of clothing! Should there be an opportunity to evolve the Miami collection, we will be looking to direct-hire talent!
