Fashion Designer

Lucy Paris is an established Contemporary brand and we are currently searching for a talented and experienced designer to join our growing team. The Designer will be responsible for all aspects of the design process. Duties: - Translate design direction and fabric/trim selections into    original designs - Create original flat sketches based on existing trends and    mainstream designs - Work with Design Team to create tech packs, ensuring designs    accurately translate into development samples - Collaborate with Trend Forecasting Team on seasonal trends    and concepts - Research trends and bring in new ideas through competitive    shopping, magazines, websites, and runway shows Qualifications: - Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Apparel Design - Must have 2 to 5 years of Contemporary Design experience - Must have ability to sketch by hand and with Illustrator - Must be proficient in Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Excel,    and Word - Must have strong interest in fashion design, color sense,    merchandising ability and general market knowledge - Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently - Must be a team player and able to work well under pressure.
