FASHION DESIGNER

BRICK EXECUTIVE SEARCH is seeking a Fashion designer for our client who offers the most elevated and inspiring clothes for the contemporary women’s consumer. Thorough knowledge of pop culture, innovative design ideas is essential . The Fashion Designer will work with the Apparel Buying/Product team. As a Fashion Designer with you will have the opportunity to create unique product designs that are truly original to our brand. Essential Functions: Collaborate with Buying/Product Development team to create pieces for seasonal collections Researching current fashion trends and customer demand to create trendy designs for product Partnering with Buyers on product development deadlines Prepare line and presentation materials for Buyer meetings Ensures that Brand quality, fit, desired appearance, and quality construction standards are met and maintained Qualifications: Strong photoshop skills and photo manipulation skills 2 years of design experience & creating technical packs and flats Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design or related field Extremely creative with ability to analyze and understand the customer Strong understanding of construction of fit The Ideal Candidate Has/Is: Experience with graphic design and illustration Exceptional work ethic and motivation to meet strict deadlines Excellent written and verbal communicator Outstanding organizational skills, with keen attention to detail and diligent task follow-through Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast - paced, dynamic environment Highly collaborative, responsive team player **Portfolio link REQUIRED in application to be considered for position
