The ideal candidate will work with our design department on upcoming ready-to-wear collections and will be responsible for assisting with the develpment of our new collection. This is a hands-on opportunity for those interested in a high end fashion design creative experience in a small business setting. The LLuna design team is looking for a fashion design intern to start immediately. • Strong fashion sense - Sewing - Cutting - Pattern drafting - Draping fabrics - Work with design team to create mood boards and select fabric/trims into designs for our upcoming season - Trend research and fabrications following design direction, seasonal inspiration - Create sketches throughout the conceptual design process - Work with Designer in developing pattern designs - Assist with sewing first developing samples prototypes for our new collection - Assisting with prototype fittings and/or inspirational stylings - Assist in interpreting and sourcing the brand’s direction into materials, trims, styles, trend, colors, and patterns.
