Fashion Design Intern

Job Summary: The Design Intern will provide support to the Design Department. There will be a variety of different responsibilities most of which will require an extremely high level of attention to detail. Essential Duties and Responsibilities... Organize and pull samples from archive/production Help with CAD creation and updates Organize presentation boards Maintain trim/fabric library Preparation for Design meetings Maintain racks in the design conference room Help update and distribute line sheets Update design WIP when there are style adds/drops Assist with sourcing trims & fabrics Help keep design tools organized Assist all design team members with day to day tasks Help design team with product development Fill out fabric testing forms & send out forms Run department errands within the buildings and other duties as assigned Qualifications: Currently pursuing a degree in Design Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Must be able to work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment Positive, cheerful, team-oriented attitude Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Illustrator Flexible schedule Excitement to learn about the apparel design process
