FASHION DESIGN ASSISTANT — ENTRY LEVEL

Full-Time | $18–$21/hour

We are looking for a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Entry-Level Fashion Design Assistant to join our design team.

This is a hands-on position supporting the design team with daily sample management, fittings, tech packs, fabric organization, trend research, and general design and product development tasks.

We are looking for someone who is responsible, eager to learn, detail-oriented, and a strong team player who can work collaboratively in a fast-paced fashion environment.

Responsibilities

Organize and maintain samples throughout the development process
Take, organize, and maintain sample photos and digital sample records
Measure sample specs accurately and record measurements
Assist with organizing, updating, and maintaining tech packs
Prepare samples and assist the design team during fit sessions
Record and organize fit comments, measurements, and sample information
Organize and maintain fabric swatches, trims, and development materials
Assist with trend, market, and competitive research
Organize seasonal inspiration, reference images, and design materials
Assist with computer-based design and administrative tasks, including digital files, sample information, tech packs, and development records
Support designers with general day-to-day design and product development tasks
Help maintain an organized sample room and design workspace
Work closely with the design team to keep development projects organized and on schedule

Qualifications

Fashion school graduate / degree in Fashion Design or a related field OR relevant fashion industry experience required
Bilingual in Korean and English required
Must be comfortable communicating in both Korean and English in a professional work environment
Basic understanding of garment construction, measurements, fabrics, and fit
Familiarity with tech packs, garment specs, and sample development
Comfortable handling computer-based daily tasks and organizing digital files and information
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, is highly preferred
Strong computer and organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail
Able to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong team player with a positive and collaborative attitude
Responsible, dependable, and willing to take initiative
Good communication and time-management skills
Eager to learn and grow within the fashion industry

Position: Entry-Level Fashion Design Assistant
Schedule: Full-Time
Pay: $18.00–$21.00 per hour, depending on experience

This is a great opportunity for a recent fashion school graduate or entry-level candidate looking to gain hands-on experience in fashion design, sample development, fittings, tech packs, and the overall product development process while working closely with a design team.
