Fashion Design Assistant

Are you passionate about fashion and eager to break into the design world? 2.7 August Apparel is looking for a Fashion Design Assistant to join our creative team and help bring our concepts to life.

Based in the heart of the LA Fashion District, we’re a fast-growing B2B apparel company behind popular brands like Endless Rose, English Factory, Grey Lab, and Free the Roses. Since 2011, we’ve built a reputation for delivering on-trend, high-quality fashion and we’re just getting started.

What You’ll Do
• Assist the design team in creating sketches, mood boards, and color palettes
• Conduct trend research and support seasonal concept development
• Support with sample fittings, patternmaking, and technical drawings
• Help source fabrics and trims, track materials, and manage sample flow
• Communicate design specs to production and assist with resolving any issues
• Keep the design studio organized and maintain material/sample archives
• Provide administrative support and work closely with the Creative Director

What We’re Looking For
• A strong eye for fashion, design, and trends
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and familiarity with technical flats
• Great organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and a team-player attitude
• A positive, can-do spirit and attention to detail

• Monday to Friday (8am-5pm with 1hr lunch + 2 breaks)
