Fashion Design Assistant

Advanced Personnel Resources is partnering with a design-focused organization in the Greensboro area to identify a contract Fashion Design Assistant to support a design team. This role will assist with design development, trend research, sample organization, and administrative support for the design department. Employment Type: Temporary Assignment (3–4 Months) Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Key Responsibilities • Create design sketches and color fills using Adobe design software • Support the design team with trend research and concept development • Assist with data entry and tracking within design and product systems • Organize and maintain product samples and design materials • Assist with documentation and updates related to product development • Support project coordination and administrative tasks for the design team Required Qualifications • Experience in the fashion, textile, or furniture industry • Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator • Ability to create sketches and digital color fills • Strong Microsoft Excel and data entry skills • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to work in a collaborative design team environment Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Browzwear / V-Stitcher or similar 3D design tools • Experience with Smartsheet or project tracking systems • Experience conducting trend research • Familiarity with sample organization and product development processes • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Product Design, or a related field preferred About the Opportunity This is a temporary assignment expected to last approximately 3–4 months, providing an excellent opportunity for design professionals looking to gain experience supporting an established design team in a fast-paced creative environment.
