It is important to have manual skills for illustration, this will help the process of digital illustration creation because the knowledge used in the paper can translate to digital creation. Knowledge of human and animal anatomy is necessary for terms of knowing how to reinterpret it at more basic levels and be able to create illustrations using these concepts. Be able to understand a drawing or art style from a basic perspective and replicate it.
