Located in the heart of NYC’s Garment District. YINAN is a ready-to-wear and couture collection that frames dressing as an act of self-empowerment. Founded by Anna Zhou in 2020, YINAN carries the designer’s given name, translating to “a precious piece of art.” Exquisite materials, precise detailing, and meticulous craftsmanship define YINAN’s collections across ready-to-wear, accessories, and jewelry. Through bold, avant-garde proportions and nuanced explorations of identity and emotion, each piece is conceived as a study in narrative and form, articulating a modern vision of strength and intimacy. We are inviting NYC-based, on-site fashion interns to join our Manhattan atelier in shaping a collection defined by intention, refinement, and artistry. You'll Gain: Immersive, hands-on experience in RTW collection development and couture-level dressmaking Direct involvement in garment production: sourcing, sampling, sewing, and finishing inside a working atelier Direct involvement in September 2026 NYFW fashion show preparation Academic credit or portfolio-building experience Requirements: A strong foundation in fashion design and styling Knowledge of textiles and garment construction Proficiency in sewing and meticulous attention to detail An understanding of aesthetics and proportion Highly organized, collaborative, and communicative Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field (preferred) Experience with corsetry is a plus Details: Unpaid: For credit or portfolio experience Interns must be available a minimum of 24 hours per week (3 business days) Start Date: ASAP NYC-BASED ONLY How to Apply: Please email your resume and portfolio to [email protected] with the subject line: [Fall internship_yinan new york] (Applications without this subject line will not be reviewed.)
