Fashion Buyer/Floor Associate (Retail Store)

This role blends buying expertise — knowledge of brands, trends, and pricing — with a strong eye for visual presentation, floor organization, and display standards. Fashion Buyers use Company software and guides to make smart buy decisions, then help ensure those items are presented on the floor in a way that sells. Top buttons should be buttoned and zippers zipped.Keep showcase glass and front door glass clean at all times.Assist customers with fitting rooms, including managing item limits, ensuring items are returned to the floor (not left in the fitting room), and keeping rooms unlocked for the next customer. Do not purchase items that are altered, fake, excessively worn, out of style, or modified from original condition.Place Company-approved tags and security sensors onto items without causing damage, and ensure priced/tagged items move promptly from the buy area to the sales floor.Count the assigned drawer at the start of each day to confirm accuracy, report discrepancies to management prior to the first purchase, and maintain appropriate cash levels throughout the day.Maintain backlogged purchases in provided bins, keeping customer information matched to each bin, and work at a pace that keeps a steady flow of new items moving onto the retail floor without backlog.Promote the Company, its logo, slogan, special events, and new arrivals on relevant social media as requested by management.Visually monitor guests and report suspicious activity to management immediately.Answer the store phone line during business hours as needed, providing store hours, current specials, directions, and answers to policy and buy-process questions.Conduct research on items that don't fit typical purchase criteria, including high-end authentication or unfamiliar labels.Perform other related duties as required or assigned.ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL SKILLS: Constant moderate to light lifting and carrying.Ability to properly operate all equipment necessary to perform the job.Ability to understand printed materials.Constant use of fingers, wrists, hands, and arms, with constant reaching above the shoulders.Constant use of near vision, distant vision, and depth perception (with or without visual aid); must be able to distinguish basic colors and shades.Constant use of hearing (with or without a hearing device).Constant pushing, pulling, walking, standing, gripping, bending, and holding arms above waist level.Benefits:
