Plato’s Closet is the go-to spot for buying and reselling gently used clothing and accessories for teens and twenty-somethings. We’re looking for a Fashion Buyer Trainee to learn the ins and outs of fashion retail — from evaluating and pricing resale items to keeping our racks stocked and our customers happy.
What You’ll Do
Evaluate and price items for resale
Handle cashier duties: greet customers, answer phones, ring up sales
Attend fitting rooms, tag merchandise, and restock racks
Keep the store looking sharp
Bring your own ideas to merchandising and social media promotion
What We’re Looking For
1+ year of retail clothing experience preferred
Basic math skills
The “Gift of Gab” — we love a good talker
Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
Comfort posting on Instagram/TikTok a plus
Spanish speakers preferred
Solid time management and organizational skills
Pay: From $16.94 per hour
People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
