Broad, high-level knowledge of brands, current fashion, trends, pricing of these brands, and ability to notice alterations and modifications to fashion are key to successful Fashion Buyers. Fashion Buyers must be able to operate buying software, a computer system, and any other means to make successful buy decisions on items and ensure that each buy is in demand for sale at a price that meets the financial goals of the Company. Work and maintain a pace that prevents a backlog of items or bins and ensures a constant flow of new items are being addressed and stocked onto the retail floor. Use the correct hanger for each category as determined by the Company. Perform any other job assignments required by management.
