Baliawear is hiring a Fashion Assistant to drive the growth of online and wholesale sales In addition you will learn how to build a brand and enable the growth of an innovative start-up challenging the traditional way to wear clothingABOUT BALIAWEARBaliawear is a unique and versatile convertible clothing line The brand enables women to transform her clothing from one piece to multiple outfits through her busy day The brand also challenges the traditional way of sizing to be more inclusive with pieces that wrap to each body for a personalized fitTHE ROLEAs the Fashion Assistant an essential role for the Baliawear team you will report directly to the Founder and CEO to assist with all aspects of the business from ecommerce strategy and fulfillment production design inventory management merchandising and marketing You will also assist in growing the brand presence both online and offline We value all of our employees and commit to providing a comprehensive learning experience that aligns with individual interests and career goalsWe are deeply customer obsessed and believe we are building a new subcategory in the fashion industry The challenges we tackle require bold ideas to drive and grow the brand Our team works in a rapidly growing and highly collaborative environmentLOCATION MIAMI FLWHAT YOULL DODAY TO DAY Review orders daily and fulfill incoming Ecommerce and Wholesale orders Ensure shipments are delivered in a timely manner in partnership with 3rdparty shipping partners Manage inventory to plan and organize production schedules Create purchase orders and order fabrics and trims Assist with Production and Design meetings to drive growth of brand Assist with Photoshoots scheduling execution and ensuring quality of product Assist with Marketing strategies on all social platforms and respond to customer inquires Receive returns and communicate with customer on refund or exchange status Ensure quality control of incoming inventory including pressing and trimming product to ensure end product is delivered perfectlyWHAT YOULL DOPROJECT BASED Attend local Baliawear events to promote and support the brandWHO YOU ARE Youre a driver You are confident in your ability to manage all fulfillment needs of the brand You are a do-er and get tasks done in an efficient manner You are fast learner and will adapt for the better of the business Detail is your middle name You pay attention to details and take the time to check work before it goes out You hold yourself responsible for all your completed work and continuously aspire to improve skills Youre a hustler You hold yourself to high standards You are motivated to produce inspiring results in a start-up entrepreneurial environment and culture You can identify and make recommendations to manage fulfillment center A passionate advocate You are passionate and excited to build and share our brands vision Youre comfortable with change You tackle problems head-on You adapt to shifting priorities make efficient decisions in the face of tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously with ease A strong teammate You enjoy working with others have the ability to collaborate with different people internally and externally around shared goalsQUALIFICATIONS Current student or recent graduate studying fashion merchandising marketing or a related discipline 2 years of business experience in related field Must be able to lift 40lbs with reasonable accommodation and stand for extended periods of time Basic Excel Knowledge Windows and Google Drive knowledge Ecommerce platform experience optional Elevated sense of humor and start up mindset Access to car and ability to drive to office and production facilitiesJob Types Part-time InternshipPay 1200 - 1300 per hourBenefits Employee discount Flexible scheduleSchedule 4 hour shiftAbility to commuterelocate Miami FL 33142 Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work RequiredExperience Customer service 1 year PreferredWork Location One location
