Summary To perform effectively, individuals must be able to complete each essential duty satisfactorily. Sales Generation and Guest ServiceDeliver high-quality alterations to store merchandise.Adhere to ticket instructions and markings as specified by Guests.Provide on-the-spot alterations upon request from Store Leaders.Meet deadlines and exceed Guest expectations for alterations.OperationsMaintain a flexible work schedule, including possible mornings, evenings, weekends, and peak holiday times.Utilize Buckle-provided sewing machines and supplies for alterations.Accurately measure and mark alteration lines.Pin or mark fabric at seams to indicate changes in progress.Seamlessly remove and resew garment stitches.Press and steam merchandise to ensure a polished finish.Repair any defective merchandise as needed.Address stains or spots on garments.Document all alterations and maintain an accurate alteration log.Uphold productivity guidelines, completing approximately four jean alterations per hour.Keep work area clean, organized, and well-stocked, notifying a Leader when supplies run low.Flexibility in handling additional work, including reworks when necessary.Reporting any policy violations promptly and confidentially.Provide constructive feedback regarding merchandise handling issues.Understand and comply with Buckle's Code of Ethics along with all policies and procedures.Contribute positively to team spirit by providing exceptional customer service.Participate in special projects and other tasks as assigned.Supervisory Responsibilities This position does not involve supervisory duties.
