Responsibilities: • With so many distractions vying for our attention in today's fast-paced world, taking the time to truly acknowledge and engage with guests can be a powerful act of hospitality that sets you apart from the crowd • Ensure that your approach is tailored to your guest's demeanor and preferences, based on reading their body language and verbal cues, to guarantee a positive experience • Maximize the usage of store tools to gain an in-depth comprehension of crucial performance indicators, sales objectives, revenue-generating and deficit-inducing product lines, inventory levels, frequently targeted merchandise, customer behavior, and peak business periods • The salesfloor should be replenished regularly to ensure all products are available to customers. Customers will appreciate the attention to detail, and it will encourage them to return in the future • Use your knowledge of current fashion trends and styling techniques to help guests put together the perfect outfit, utilizing the fitting rooms as a portal for your personalized recommendations • Focus on creating a positive guest experience by anticipating their needs, providing useful information, and going above and beyond their expectations • Make sure to welcome your guests with respect and dignity while also considering the best possible way to manage your workload based on the current sales trends • Keep guests inspired all year round by refreshing product offerings, setting transitions on schedule, and maintaining the brand atmosphere through efficient re-merchandising • Possess deep expertise in your assigned areas and leverage that knowledge to create a consistently high-quality shopping experience for guests • Ensure that precise labeling and signs are utilized for specified categories of merchandise, regardless of whether they are being promoted or not, and maintain a deep understanding of promotional offerings • Develop and execute sales promotions and discounts to help augment category sales • Conduct weekly modifications to the pricing of designated categories • Execute Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) scans in specified areas and perform system reviews to ensure inventory accuracy • Deliver accurate backroom refills and address all customer needs • Keep the backroom aisles neat and organized by managing backstock properly and accurately locating inventory items, effectively tracking inventory items within your designated areas • Increase guest appreciation through effective multitasking • Meeting guest needs is imperative to retain customers. Utilize My Checkout and the Target App to offer substitutions for out-of-stock items while maintaining customer satisfaction • We are delighted that our guests have chosen to shop at Target, and we extend our sincerest gratitude to them.
