Accounts receivable/Chargebacks Specialist   REMOTE Salary range: $50-55K DOE Leading apparel / accessories company in the garment district seeking full-time accounts receivable specialist. We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic, dedicated individual interested in the wholesale industry. The individual suitable for this position should be confident and comfortable in a fast-paced showroom/office environment. Responsibilities: (Include, but not limited to) Retrieve daily chargebacks from Factor and post into Quantum (ERP) Verify all chargebacks from Factor to assign proper codes and post transactions to the system Identify and classify deductions by pulling documentation from vendor portals or contacting customers Communicate compliance issues to relevant departments to ensure future compliance and reduce future chargebacks Resolve all disputes pertaining to returns/damage claims/freight/shortages/EDI transmissions and proofs of delivery Negotiate settlements to recover valid charges Successful collection of unauthorized chargebacks Analyze aged A/R reports for major retailers and small companies Prepare monthly analysis of chargebacks showing application of payments and credits Assist Factor in identifying and application of payments and credits Skills / Qualifications: 2-3+ years of Accounts Receivable and Chargebacks experience (Required) Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Vendor compliance experience a PLUS Strong written and verbal communication skills Detail oriented and Highly Organized Multitasking and Ability to prioritize Responsible Good at Negotiation and Problem Solving Excellent Follow Up skills Sense of Urgency Benefits offered: Vacations, Sick Days, Medical Insurance, Commuter Check, 401(K) Job Type: Full-time --------------------------------------------------------------------- REK GROUP FASHION STAFFING IS YOUR SOURCE FOR NYC/ NJ FASHION EMPLOYEES...30 yrs experience FASHION IS ALL WE DO -
