With predominant exposure to G-III's brands, DKNY, Karl Lagerfeld Paris, Donna Karan, etc. candidates will be exposed to high level seasonal brand campaign projects as well as day to day production activities, such as managing incoming and outgoing sample requests with a sense of urgency and attention to return dates. This intern will be first line of contact to pull and organize samples across internal divisions. In this position, interns will work with the production team to support a variety of cross-functional production projects, and gain a greater understanding of the production business, best industry practices and trends. · Prior office experience is required (previous internship) · Strong written and verbal skills · Strong understanding and interest of Fashion & Retail Industry is a plus · Detail oriented · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment · Problem solving with ability to prioritize completion of tasks · Proactive and able to anticipate future needs · Strong time and project management skills · Comfortable with many tasks to juggle and can remain calm · Interest in pursuing a career in marketing/styling or shoot production · A Bachelor's degree or working towards a bachelor's degree in relevant field
