fabric cutter for fashion studio

Morgane Le Fay is a New York City based fashion company. We are currently seeking a full-time or part-time fabric cutter. Responsibilities include: • Be able to understand and follow cutting tickets accordingly while maintaining fabric inventories • Have a basic understanding of pattern making to be able to cut a pattern correctly • Be able to cut delicate fabrics including (silk, chiffon, organza, ect.) • Being able to keep the fabric table and fabric room organized and in perfect order • Be able to assist the design department in cutting samples and duplicates • Have experience using a rotary cutting machine •Must be able to lift 40 lbs
