Appointment: Department of Human Ecology at Delaware State University is seeking applications for a 12-month split appointment (50% teaching and 50% extension) position. It is a fulltime non-tenure track position with state employee benefits. The candidate is also expected to teach undergraduate level courses, mentor and advise undergraduate students. Selected candidate is also expected to seek external funds to support teaching, research and extension programs; build new relationships with industry and the community; assist in curriculum development, review and improvement; participate in student recruitment and in departmental, college and university activities Qualification: Candidates must have earned a Master degree in textiles and fashion design with at least five years of industry experience. Candidate must be competent in Fashion or textiles design software such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Optitex: Fashion Design software such as: 2D/3D CAD/CAM, CAD or smart fashion and textile design.
