Description This key position is responsible for overseeing the estimating process for commercial construction projects while collaborating closely with the construction team to deliver accurate, competitive bids and support successful project execution. )Develop detailed scopes of work from project documents and ensure complete bid coverage.Create subcontractor and vendor bid lists and distribute Invitations to Bid (ITBs).Maintain effective communication with subcontractors, vendors, owners, and project stakeholders throughout the bidding process.Analyze subcontractor proposals for scope completeness, accuracy, and competitiveness.Collaborate with the construction team to prepare and submit owner proposals.Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors to expand bidding opportunities and enhance project success.Assist in developing project budgets and identifying value-engineering opportunities when appropriate. Requirements Proven track record of success in commercial construction project management.Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines.Estimating experience is strongly preferred.Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Demonstrated ability to take ownership of the proposal development process and deliver complete, competitive bids on schedule.Proficient in reading, interpreting, and applying construction plans, specifications, and contract documents.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with owners, subcontractors, vendors, and team members.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Autodesk Build/PlanGrid, estimating software, and quantity takeoff tools.Ability to adapt to changing project demands and schedules as needed.
