We are looking for a Hair Stylist to create flawless haircuts and hairstyles for our customers. At least 5 years of behind the chair experience as a Hairstylist maintaining a clientele At least 5 years hands-on experience with various coloring techniques Knowledge of a wide range of haircuts, suitable for all hair lengths Familiarity with hair treatment products and services, like keratin smoothing, Brazilian blowout and perms Up-to-date with industry trends Excellent communication skills Physical stamina to stand for long hours Flexibility to work in shifts Valid license from a cosmetology school Clientele that will move with you is a bonus but not required MUST be a team player! After moving to Austin 12 years ago, Laura searched for a salon that was upscale yet comfortable and was not able to find a true place to call home. She began working at a salon in North Austin and within 2 years decided to open The Salon at The Domain with her friend Kerry Westmoreland. Kerry and Laura both work behind the chair full time and have created a comfortable family type atmosphere in The Salon.
