Executive Director, Global Corporate Innovation & Planning Technology Leader

This position will provide thought leadership, management and oversight of all application solutions (cloud first, however on premises where required) for Corporate Innovation & Planning and will be accountable for all technology investments, as well as managing the portfolio of transformation programs and innovation PoCs.This position is based in New York City and reports into the VP R&D Technology Leader with a matrix relationship to the leaders in Delivery and R&D business. -Accountable for the Global Corporate Innovation & Planning Technology integrated portfolio, including integration across enterprise technology solutions and technologies. -Leads a global team that is accountable for all technology solutioning for the Global Corporate Innovation & Planning and is accountable for innovative, strategic business solutions. Leadership -Excellent leadership skills and demonstrated experience with building and developing teams -Act as a Functional Technology Leader - demonstrating outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, ability influence and provide technology thought leadership to the Global R&D leadership and act as a trusted advisor. -Demonstrates technical domain experience and expertise in a number of key areas: Corporate Innovation & Planning-Drive outstanding insights and innovative game-changing opportunities through data science and analytics.-Hands on experience and demonstrated success in leading digital solutions and familiarity with new technologies (Java stack, Cloud, IoT)-Competent in new technology evaluation, ability to support technical change management and provide thought leadership skills in integration technologies, tools and services-Ideally have demonstrated relationships with best in class software vendors including cloud and platform vendors Business Skills -Solid understanding of Corporate Innovation & Planning functions in the beauty industry.
