ENTRY - LEVEL TEMP BUYER

Their men’s, women’s apparel and accessories lines are sold in department, e-commerce and specialty stores nationwide. For the Entry – Level Temp Buyer role, our client is looking for candidates with a background in merchandising, buying, data entry, production, design, planning, product development, allocation, tech design, wholesale, etc. Responsible for all data and PO entry Utilize Excel Maintain the organization of the fashion closet Manage product lifecycle which includes managing/maintaining site catalogs and loading product photography across sites Execute site refreshes on time and without errors to ensure product launches in a timely fashion Collaborate with e-commerce buyers to fully understand assortment, deliveries, merchandising strategy, and pre-order/back-order requirements Organize pick-ups and deliveries of samples Traffic samples that come in and out of the fashion closet Responsible for configuring trend boards and story boards Assist on photo shoots with the Fashion team and outside stylists Excellent computer skills Experience using advanced Excel formulas (Pivot tables, and V-Lookups) is a must Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Must live in the NYC area, relocation is not offered Candidates with strong fashion internships are encouraged to apply We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment.
