Responsibilities : The primary function of the Automation Engineer is to design and manage the implementation of jewelry automation equipment into the manufacturing facility. The position will require hands on control systems experience needed to implement installations working closely with manufacturing to find creative automation solutions. Adhere to all safety requirements. \- Ability to coach and drive Automation principles (Functionality, User Friendliness and Safety) to the engineering and manufacturing teams with an innovation mindset that includes piloting, design of experiments \- Design and Implement automation processes throughout the manufacturing process. Required Qualifications: \- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or other related discipline \- Minimum 5 years industrial experience with emphasis in manufacturing automation equipment and processes \- Strong Project Management experience \- Demonstrated skill and achievement in implementing Automation solutions in a manufacturing environment and knowledge of Industry 4.0 \- Excellent influencing, negotiation skills at multiple organizational levels, including executive level \- Must be able to analyze complex program requirements, identify key phases & workstreams \- Well organized, displaying clear, rational and analytical approach to problem solving and planning \- Remains calm under pressure and can find creative and pragmatic solutions \- Willing to look for / explore new solutions or methods \- A flexible, positive team player with skills to multi-task and contribute across disciplines \- Ability and self-motivation to learn quickly, be proactive and independent \- Excellent verbal and written communication skills \- Willingness to learn new skills, software, and hardware.
