Responsible for the development and maintenance of engineered work standards on traditional distribution processes and the labor management system. The Industrial Engineer will be concerned with the efficient process flow, process improvement and safe utilization of labor within the HBI distribution center. The Industrial Engineer will work in conjunction with the distribution operations team to develop process improvement solutions, layout changes and engineered work standards for tracking labor performance across distribution processes. The Industrial Engineer reports to the Director of Distribution. Primary responsibilities of the job are as follows: To develop, update and maintain the engineered work standards within the distribution network.
