ELECTRICAL ENGINEER - With Siemens Experience

We are working with a leading international personal hygiene group in the baby care, feminine hygiene, and adult care markets for consumers, retailers, institutional and private health care providers in over 15 countries. The company has dozens of facilities and brands, with Billions in annual revenue. The company has a need for an Electrical Engineer with Siemens Experience located north of Winston-Salem and Greensboro, NC and will report to the Technical Manager. Job Purpose: Safely execute planned maintenance activities to eliminate machine breakdowns, eliminate machine breakdowns, identify root causes and solve any electrical faults that may arise on the line timely to ensure net output per hour, waste and efficiency targets are met Provide electrical controls and process engineering expertise to drive improvement in efficiency of the production lines net output and scrap through applying technical knowledge to design and implement small and large projects Main Responsibilities and Key Tasks: Participate in drawing and executing planned preventive maintenance schedule Develop initiatives for effective utilities usage, driving utilities reduction projects Utilize experience in controls and process to identify opportunities to drive efficiency improvements and improve waste and net output per hour Identify root causes of machine breakdowns and resolve to minimize lost production time to ensure net outputs, waste, and efficiency targets are met Develop ideas and viable solutions, design and implement to improve processes Provide electrical controls expertise on the production line equipment as well as plant service equipment Investigate / troubleshoot equipment problems and provide effective solutions Lead / participate in design reviews or other project requirements as the electrical expert for the plant Review and maintain the electrical standards for the plant in line with global standards Supervise electrical contractors on site Participate in focused improvement projects in the plant to enhance safety, ergonomics, efficiency and reduction of costs Requirements/Experience: 3+ years of Siemens (PLC) experience.
