Ecomm production coordinator / demand planner

The Production coordinator/ Demand Planner is responsible for the demand forecast across amazon and other sales channels and partner with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory levels, works on reorders , places production orders, follows up on production timelines, communicates with factories and ensures timely fulfillment in required quality parameters .This role plays a critical role in driving ecomm growth and operational efficiency by providing analytics to inform decisions related to inventory management, new product development and production fulfillment. What You’ll Do • Develop and refine demand forecasts for amazon using ecomm platform using statistical methods, market trends, and input from Marketing & technical and ecomm team • Lead the monthly demand forecasting process and do weekly review of top sellers • Places production orders to factories, review weekly TNA and own entire production process including PP/color/trim/packaging/TOP sample approvals, packing list and labeling, shipping and logistics • Provide cross-functional analytics to inform pricing, payments and product development • Analyze seasonal performance to inform future strategy for colors and fits • Collaborate with sourcing to optimize prices/ shipping and logistics What we’re looking for • Strong database ability to analyze complex selling data sets with help of AI/ chat GPT and translate them into actionable insights for cross-functional teams • Have a strong analytical mind-set with an advanced level of Excel • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to create POs on ERP , text/talk with factories in Asia like China/ India/Bangladesh & Cambodia to name a few AND ensure production deliveries • Apparel product knowledge preferred to hit the ground running • Calm under pressure, with strong analytical, organizational, decision making and proven presentation skills • Flexible, adaptable and ability to balance multiple priorities and projects • Highly collaborative nature and ability to work cross-functionally while navigating through ambiguity and maintaining attention to detail • Ability to set up processes and infrastructure for reporting and communication Experience: • Production coordinator: 1 year (Required) Location: • New York, NY 10017 (Preferred)
