E-Commerce Fulfillment & Customer Experience Associate (Part-Time)

About us

We are a women's apparel and accessories brand based in Slabtown, Portland looking for someone independently-motivated who can help us as our brand continues to grow. This position starts with order fulfillment and customer service with opportunity to expand responsibilities and hours depending on your interest and development in the role.

The schedule

25 hours per week, 10am to 3pm, Monday through Friday. This is an on-site role at our Slabtown warehouse and office. Hours increase during peak season (see below).

We expect this role to start in October 2026.

What you'll do

Customer service

Respond to customer email inquiries in Zendesk
Handle customer messages on TikTok Shop
Manage our Depop listings and buyer communication

Order fulfillment

Purchase and print shipping labels
Locate items in our warehouse and pack orders accurately
Pack orders to our brand standards
Hand off orders to mail carriers who pick up from our building
Drop off USPS, UPS, and DHL packages when needed

Warehouse and inventory

Receive and unpack incoming shipments
Organize and maintain accurate inventory
Keep the workspace clean and orderly

Room to grow

Depending on your interests and skills, this role can expand into:

Helping run brand events
Broader operations and inventory management
Manufacturer correspondence
TikTok live selling

What we're looking for

Reliability. We ship daily, so showing up consistently is critical to ensure that packages are delivered on time.
Attention to detail. We need someone who can pack orders accurately, so our customers get exactly what they ordered.
Clear, friendly written communication. You'll be communicating with customers every day, so we need someone who can write in a way that represents the brand well.
Comfort with basic software. You'll work daily in Shopify, Zendesk, and TikTok Shop. We'll train you on all three.
Ability to work independently once trained. We're usually in the office too, but our focus is on design and running the business, so we're looking for someone who can take ownership of this role.

Nice to have

Previous retail and customer service experience
Familiarity with Shopify, Zendesk, Depop, or TikTok Shop
Interest in building with our brand as we grow

Physical requirements

Standing, walking, bending, and reaching for most of the shift
Lifting and moving boxes up to 40 pounds
Repetitive hand motion for packing

Transportation

Reliable access to a vehicle is preferred. USPS picks up from our building regularly, but UPS and DHL shipments occasionally need to be dropped off manually. Mileage is reimbursed at the standard IRS rate.

Peak season

Our busiest stretch runs from late November through mid-December. Availability during this period is required, including Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Weekly hours may increase during peak season or product drops, with overtime paid as required by law.

The workspace

Industrial office and warehouse space in Slabtown with a kitchenette and refrigerator. Free street parking available.

Compensation and benefits

$25 per hour
