Work at Purchasing Power The Opportunity: The Divisional Merchandise Manager will drive the overall merchandising strategy for multiple product departments and categories. The Experience You Will Bring: • Bachelor’s degree in a general area of study or 7+ years of relevant experience in Merchandising may be considered in lieu of a degree • 4+ years of experience managing a buying team, including hiring, development, and motivating a team • 7+ years of retail experience in Fashion categories (Apparel, Shoes, Accessories, Jewelry or Handbags) covering a range of experience from vendor management, negotiation, forecasting and planning, buying, merchandising responsibilities • Advanced proficiency in using e-commerce systems and product catalog management tools • Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Access) • Understanding of margin planning, pricing and promotional elasticity, product planning and forecasting, inventory productivity measures • Ability to develop and maintain strong vendor partnerships and demonstrated business success working with top tier Fashion brands and distribution partners What We Stand For: • We act with intensity, urgency and a passion for supporting our customers and growing our business.
