Product Strategy Develop compelling, marketable category concepts, stories, and/or global vision that balance analysis with aesthetic Create global category strategic plans, and seasonal plans and briefs that support overall brand and financial objectives Ensure regional and key country insights are obtained and incorporated in global category briefing process Ensure regions have correct product selection and implement global category strategies Lead and manage cross-functional product line / global category process Develop compelling, marketable category concepts, stories, and global vision Assist / create product presentations for team, executives, GMM, and key milestone meetings Build credibility within Fashion Distribution Manage Business (Processes and Projects) Ensure overall adherence to product creation calendar and achievement of key milestones through critical decision-making and leadership Proactively prepare for tensions in the calendar and resolve issues with the team relating to design, staff performance, or cross-functional challenges Industry, Market, and Consumer Acumen Provide insight and analysis of consumer and marketing trends, competition, retail landscape, and cultural drivers affecting business dynamics Analyze and summarize research data Provide a Framework for Performance Create an effective work environment in which people can perform best by ensuring the availability or resources, e.g. by hiring best people available from outside and inside or by allocating resources appropriately Promote a high performance culture by setting clear expectations and individual goals, and focus the team / organization on key drivers that impact success Be an advocate for the category both internally and externally to ensure that proper resources are garnered Build a high-performing team through selection, development, and day-to-day coaching of staff Market Strategy Ensure appropriate and correct global category positioning Collaborate with merchandising teams to engage with accounts to develop and maintain partnerships that ensure Reebok's effective presence and presentation at both retail & digital platforms. Strategic Acting Partner with cross-functional leaders to design, streamline, and optimize processes and workflows to ensure quality of entire commercialization process Successfully partner with all other areas within and outside the department to ensure that stories, messages, and overall deliverables are in alignment with the entire department's goals Financial AptitudeAnalyze and prepare global category business performance reports Knowledge Skills and Abilities: Proven track record of producing performance product Strong influencing skills Strong collaboration skills Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills Excellent verbal and written language skills in English Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products Excellent analytical skills Be a leader & role model to those in the department Provide prompt and constructive feedback, and assume a coaching role in order to support and inspire their subordinates, including interns and apprentices Ensure overall adherence to product creation calendar and achievement of key milestones through critical decision-making and leadership Tackle conflicts proactively and find constructive solutions together with their counterparts
