DIRECTOR OF TECHNICAL DESIGN

Description Job Functions Direct the technical design process, including fit, patterns, grading, fabric, construction, and manufacturing Oversee fit sessions and fit models, maintain responsibility for all product in all categories/divisions/channels Oversee writing fit comments, documenting fit history, tracking samples Drive usage of PLM to create, update, and maintain accurate and complete specifications Drive usage of 2D and 3D software for pattern corrections and maintenance Oversee consistent fit and quality standards in product. Direct overall workflow of the Technical Design team, including monitoring the execution of Technical Design functions to meet calendars, utilize individual strengths, balance workloads Skills Minimum 15 years technical design experience Expert knowledge of apparel fit, patterns, grading, fabric, construction, and manufacturing Expert knowledge of PLM, 2D, and 3D software Demonstrated excellence in leadership skills, including collaboration, training, ability to build and motivate team, strategic thinker.
