Director of Sourcing & Supplier Development

Little Sleepies is poised for significant growth and the Director of Sourcing and Supplier Development is responsible for leading and developing a team that supports the business from both a strategic and executional, hands-on basis and seeks strategic opportunities to refine and optimize the company’s network of suppliers and factories. Manage the product development process for products and/or programs including the development, product cost reporting and garment and packaging approval process to deliver/exceed expectations related to the Quality, Revenue, Profitability and Costs. Collaborate with merchandising to understand and anticipate customer needs, cost and margin goals, and actively recommend low cost alternatives that uphold the integrity of the design and quality standards of the company. 7-10 years industry experience in apparel manufacturing, sourcing, supply chain management including developing sourcing strategies and supplier development. You are well-versed in product life cycle across multiple product types and are able to work across various product categories simultaneously.
