DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC RELATIONS AND INFLUENCER MARKETING

Our client is seeking a Director of PR and Influencer Marketing. This strategic leadership role drives the PR/Influencer, Partnerships, and Philanthropy. This is a hybrid role: 2 days in the NY office and 3 days WFH. The salary range is 160-170k. Responsibilities: Lead PR and Influencer strategies best practices Develop strategy, KPIs, and proposed structure for identified influencer programs and activations Oversee traditional PR, develop influencer marketing activations for the brand to generate reach and engagement, build community and participation, and inspire product trial and positive awareness towards the brand story and products to drive sales Collaborate with Integrated Communications to craft end-to-end PR and Influencer programs Identify influencers for activation, work with Influencer Manager for outreach, and develop brief for content creation Work with Social Analyst and Community Manager to ensure program has built-in ongoing dialogue between influencers and brand Collaborate with PR, in-house or external agency, product development, and vendors to ensure full success of multi-faceted, tiered approach to program Strengthen Brand and Leadership position in media by generating favorable publicity Manage Budget in partnership with Brand Lead Coordinate influencer relationship management with PR Coordinate Vendor selection Manage program creative direction and strategy Manage Influencer Objectives and KPIs Qualifications: Bachelor's degree 10+ years in marketing, PR, and influencer programs PR experience with specific skills in beauty, fashion, or consumer goods with a base of media industry connections and business Knowledge of social engagement tools and platforms (i.e., Hootsuite, Sprinklr) Experience leading an external PR/Communications agency Excellent writing and presentation skills along with a strong business and financial acumen Ability to think creatively, strategically, and technically Driven, results-oriented and executes flawlessly with a humble, agile work style Ability to work confidentially on sensitive and confidential matters Present a deep understanding of media landscape including traditional PR, Social Media, Influencers, and role of brand talent Crisis communication experience and ability to operate calmly in high pressure and/or short-deadline situations Self-starter who can collaborate, influence, and work with a wide range of stakeholders, including ELT, Comms Lead, IT, Marketing Teams, PD, Legal, Customer Service, Creative, etc.
