DIRECTOR OF LICENSING

The Company enhances its roster of brands by licensing trademarks from third parties, including: Nike® and Jag® for swimwear, and Callaway®, PGA TOUR®, and Jack Nicklaus® for golf apparel. The Director of Licensing is responsible for the development and growth of the licensing business. Day-to-day interface with license partners and internal PEI teams in merchandising, sales and marketing. Conducts due diligence Collaborates with licensees in executing business strategies for growth Monitors license agreement compliance: financial, product, distribution, etc. Liaise with marketing, legal and finance departments Monitor adherence to contractual obligations, highlight risks/shortfalls such as: Sales, Royalty, Advertising Spending, Marketing Spending, Off-Price Sales/Limites, Year end summaries, Aging report and follow-up with all licensees to ensure on time payment with highlighted risks, audits and ensure timely resolutions Ensures adherence to brand standards: Logos, labels, collateral, in-store visuals, advertising, and fixturing Collaborates with Merchandising, Design, and Marketing teams: Oversees product design and development Ensures adherence to design/merchandising calendar Category expert on trend and competition (positioning, pricing and product mix) Quarterly retail comp analysis Monitors and analyzes seasonal retail selling and develop/implement action plan Reviews and discuss seasonal merchandising plans in conjunction with Licensee, prior to first product meeting Develops and reviews seasonal marketing plans with each license partner.
