The Director of Design & Development is responsible for developing strategy and leading all aspects of textile creation, development, and sourcing for the Company Brands & Collections. You will lead a team of designers by providing clear direction to execute designs, collaborating & providing creative insights with Development, Marketing, Sales, and all the way to the consumer. As a Senior Leader in the Company, the Director of Design & Development will play a key role in driving product development and sourcing strategy. You will establish & define the textile design approach & direction that produces high-profile, industry-leading, technical, & innovative designs. Experience with CAD software Proficiency in Adobe, Microsoft Excellent design and layout skills Experience in creation and execution of textile product designs Experience in research & analysis and design cycles Advanced understanding and ability in writing and communications Exceptional portfolio Textile course accreditations a strong plus Skills: Strong knowledge of textile development and design processes Strong knowledge of aesthetic form and the ability to design for different consumers and end uses.
