Responsibilities Develop insights and strategic perspectives on new opportunities; structure initiatives; test hypotheses and adapt; develop recommendations and action plan for initiative Collaborate with senior leaders in the organization to develop transformation initiatives, including merchandise and channel growth, accelerated innovation, portfolio optimization Lead and support initiative teams to develop objective-driven cross-functional project plans; manage scope, schedule, prioritization and KPIs; analyze issues and facilitate decisions to maintain project execution; accelerate plans working well and evolve plans that are off-track Lead a matrixed organization to achieve project deliverables in a timely manner and identify/improve process bottlenecks and overall organizational effectiveness Conduct market, competitive, and internal analysis to identify new growth opportunities (organic and inorganic) or operational performance initiatives Develop perspectives on the longer term direction of the sector and influence the enterprise direction and strategic roadmapRefine the scope, define, and lead key initiatives that support the Annual Operating Plan, Long-Range Plan, and HBI overall strategy Support the identification of category “white space” opportunities Monitor competitor trends and define actions to defend against competitor actions
