DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS OPERATIONS

Business Operations/Legal Manages and oversees all contracts for the Company in partnership with Vice President and external legal Manages Company’s insurance policies with the broker to ensure policies are current and negating competitive rates Manages all legal matters for the Company in partnership with external legal Oversees all leases for the Company; negotiates renewals Warehouse/Logistics Collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate tools and process improvements Assess business trends and actively partner with executives, department heads, and store managers to strategize and drive business initiatives Identify areas of process improvement, build in efficiencies, and execute change Partner with all 3rd Party systems teams to action requests and manage large scope projects Develop and manage scalable internal SOPs and expectations, implement training, as well as external-facing documentation and messaging Constantly look to improve our warehouse efficiencies by developing studies and cost containment exercises Partner with Store Management to determine the operational needs of each store and provide solutions for stock management, efficiency in the selling ceremony, and general operational needs in the store Finance/Accounting Responsible for bottom line, margin and Company cash flow Evaluate, develop, and improve department controls, systems, and procedures that increase accuracy and efficiency Lead the accounting team by motivating, developing, and creating a departmental culture and vision. Ensure companywide consistency and compliance in financial procedures and policies Work with department heads across the business in supporting their financial activities, guiding them through financial process and interpreting the progress of financial outcomes. Provide financial analyses as needed, in particular for pricing decisions and contract negotiations IT/Systems Management Oversee all company wide IT functions Manage relationship and communication of all 3rd party IT companies Set and manage budget for IT functions and projects Communicate with heads of departments to determine IT needs Partner with IT Manager on large scope projects and manage support ticket requests Partner with IT Manager to create roadmap and adjust based on business needs Retail Operations and Facilities Set and manage budgets for all installations, special projects, and facilities related upgrades and maintenance Partner with Senior Special Projects & Operations Manager to determine operational needs for upcoming and ongoing Special Projects Partner with Senior Special Projects & Operations Manager to ensure the pristine presentation of all locations Review and manage maintenance contracts in partnership with Vice President Human Resources/DE&I Turning business strategy into people strategy This includes oversight for organization effectiveness, talent development and performance management, employee engagement and program development in support of business objectives. Oversee and manage the Company’s external and internal DE&I Strategy Skills: Advanced Microsoft Office Suite Must be highly skilled with Microsoft Excel Proficient in POS systems, RPro preferred Critical path mindset on approaching project management challenges Ability to oversee vendors/partners/contractors Excellent communication skills and an ability to liaise with all aspects of the business Work with a high sense of urgency and be adept to prioritizing your time Experienced and well-rounded leader with a broad understanding of retail business operations Proven ability recruiting, building, and nurturing a positive team and work environment 5+ years of relevant project management and operations experience Salary: $160,000 - $190,000
