DIRECTOR, MERCHANDISE PLANNING - Hybrid

Description This is a hybrid position that can be based out of our New York City or Columbus, OH headquarters. Your Role: The Director of Merchandise Planning is responsible for demand planning of all brands and sub-brands for Victoria’s Secret. The director serves as the key liaison between Merchants, Finance, Marketing, Store Operations, and Sourcing / Manufacturing, Demand Planning in the development of the plans (volume / markdowns, IMU, MMU, receipts, and inventory) to achieve agreed upon financial targets for specified books of business. Responsible for building assortment plan consistent with this Oversee the development, analysis, and revision of category plans for sales, margin realization, inventory and profit Review opportunities and risks associated with the business current financial position and actual performance Build consensus with merchants and cross functional partners on forecasts for the businesses for which they are accountable (revenue, margin realization, receipts, and inventory) Oversees and approve financial plan for merchandise selection, distortion, exit of their businesses Oversees and recommends impact of price change and event Coordination of all exit strategies for discontinued items Responsible for assessing price position relative to top line and margin realization in keeping with category positioning Leads and develops team strategy and building internal bench strength Click here for benefit details related to this position.
