Job Duties Create new embroidery designs from provided artwork Run sew-outs on single head machine to assess quality of designs, producing production ready samples for customer service Prepare the digital ready to submit scans of the sew-out for the customer Edit embroidery designs from production floor, as necessary Review and edit if necessary outsourced embroidery designs to guarantee our standard of quality and operativity Add to the Work schedule new Digitizing Requests as soon as they are received Maintain updated the work schedule to all the phases of the digitizing Record metrics of daily performance Provide embroidery knowledge support for client services as needed Be vigilant that all processes related to the digitizing department is being followed Initial Qualifications High attention to detail, with a focus on quality and accuracy Excellent ability to distinguish between colors Working knowledge of Microsoft and Adobe computer programs, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, along with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat Experience with any professional digitizing program is expected. Ethos experience preferred, followed by Wilcom and Pulse Experience running an embroidery machine is preferred Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, or related field, is preferred Learn quickly and exhibit tech savviness; curiosity and passion would mean that you can get up to speed and have an impact from day one Able to perform relatively long periods of repetitive actions at computer terminal
