Designer, Women's Outerwear - Levi's & Champion

G-III is seeking a highly skilled and detail Designer, Women's Outerwear with strong technical and creative capabilities to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing seasonal collections, from initial concept through to final production, with a keen eye for trend research and a strong command of Illustrator for flats and tech packs. • Maintain daily communication with overseas offices and internal cross-functional teams to ensure smooth product development. • Support seasonal concept development and contribute to the execution of the overall design direction. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Women’s Outerwear Design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across silhouettes and materials • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) • Exceptional sketching skills with the ability to translate concepts into clear, technical illustrations • Solid understanding of the specification and tech pack process from design through production • Strong commercial awareness with a good understanding of price points, margin goals, and the financial impact of design decisions • Experience designing across various market levels, including high street, bridge, and high-end/luxury • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design ideas to cross-functional teams and senior leadership • A keen eye for emerging trends, styling details, and consumer behavior, with the ability to apply insights to relevant product design
