ROLE OVERVIEW

In this Designer role, you'll focus on our women's line and take full ownership of your assigned product categories-driving design, execution, and continuous strategy from concept to market. You will join a fast-paced, creative team, and should bring an innovative and adaptable approach to design that is clear, compelling, and in line with our brand's aesthetic.

In this role, you will need to clearly communicate creative ideas to both supervisors and stakeholders, collaborate on ideation with fellow designers, and work with the product development team to deliver solutions that are timely and effective. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners on the fit and execution, as well as work closely with merchant partners to understand customer needs and drive sales.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Staying informed on new techniques and resources within the industry at largeDesigning brand-appropriate fashion in line with concepts, design directives, and existing product linesHand-sketching ideas in a way that clearly communicates design and fabricationCreating detailed technical sketches and CADs independently for assigned categoriesOverseeing line sheet management and ensuring regular updates by the teamInnovating and partnering with Product Development teams on new developmentsDirecting fittings from first prototypes to fit samples, ensuring design aesthetic, materials, and overall garment qualityPartnering with Technical Design in the creation of tech packs as well as during fit sessionsPartnering with pattern-makers, as needed, on prototypesManaging time within the brand calendar to ensure all major milestones are metFollowing up on all pre-production details (color, fabric, trim) to ensure consistency with brand decisionsTaking ownership of projects from concept through productionTaking initiative to streamline and innovate processes to optimize workflow efficiencyCreating clear, compelling presentation decks and confidently presenting design ideas to both small and large groupsROLE REQUIREMENTS

5-7+ years of design experience within a fast-paced, trend-driven apparel companySkilled hand-sketching and CAD creation techniqueIncredibly creative and innovative with a strong knowledge of the fashion marketA passion for inclusive designAdvanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and PhotoshopAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentStrong team player and leader who contributes positively to team dynamics and cultivates passion and productivitySolutions-driven advocate for efficiency with an "all-hands-on-deck" mentalityExcellent written, verbal, and presentation skillsAbility to handle confidential information with utmost discretionExceptionally detail-oriented and organizedBFA / BA Degree in Fashion DesignEnglish fluency; additional language skills are an advantageSchedule & Location: Monday - Friday | Core business hours | Onsite in Beverly HillsBENEFITS
