Position Overview
Our retail client in Boston is looking to hire a Designer to support their Visual Merchandising team, primarily designing for projects that will impact the development of a dynamic in-store touchpoint strategy. 

This role is:

At-will W-2 contract work, 40 hours/weekOnsite in Boston Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays6+ months with opportunity to extend.Key Responsibilities

Design visually compelling graphics, signage, and promotional materials that elevate the in-store brand experience.Translate and adapt creative concepts across 2D and 3D retail fixtures, incorporating current visual merchandising trends and innovative design solutions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business partners to define project requirements, develop layouts, and support production execution.Manage artwork from concept through production, including file preparation, vendor releases, proof review, quality control, and specification compliance.Drive projects through fast-paced timelines by prioritizing deliverables, mitigating risks, and ensuring successful regional implementation of retail executions.Qualifications

5+ years of design experience with a focus on retail, footwear, visual merchandising, or related consumer-facing environments.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop); experience with Rhino, SketchUp, or other 3D design software is preferred.Strong understanding of print design, production processes, and preparing artwork for manufacturing and vendor execution.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to incorporate feedback and manage cross-functional relationships.Experience with project management tools such as Asana and the flexibility to work within a hybrid office environment.In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
