The essential duties and responsibilities include, although are not limited to the following: Creates concept designs for a range of brands and products; Takes artwork from initial design to creating die lines and detailed instructions for factory to follow; Creates boards for licensor/customer approvals as needed; Communicates with overseas office to approve quality, color, pre-production/production samples; Mocking up packaging prototypes; Communicates with licensors/retailers on approvals as needed; Works with photographer to schedule photo shoots of needed items; Photoshop images so they can sell the product on the packaging; Learns the various types of warnings, product requirements and instructions that are needed for each product category; Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Packaging design or related course; 2 years minimum industry experience; Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop and MS Office; Positive attitude and strong communication skills; Resourceful and self-motivated; Is detail oriented and accurate
