Specific Responsibilities Work closely with director and team on the seasonal design development process from concept to delivery that meets market needs and drive sales. Duties Responsible for assisting and designing men’s sportswear Track and maintain design calendar to ensure timely execution of product development calendar Prepare sketches/designs for seasonal line reviews Prepare tech packs for development and production Research fabrics and trims for approval and maintain library Partner with technical design and production to develop line, facilitate inter office communication Evaluate lab dips, strike-offs, hangtags, trims and bulk fabric, and communicate comments to production team. Review fit samples with tech design to ensure the integrity and fit of the product Leadership Contribute positively to team dynamic and manage where needed Skills Excellent organizational skills and communication skills Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines Ability to take initiative, highly motivated Highly detail oriented and creative Passion to design and contribute to seasonal research and styling concepts. Excellent sketching techniques in illustrator / Photoshop Understanding of garment construction, silhouettes, sewing techniques, fabrication and trim Proficient in Microsoft office suite, adobe products, knowledge of Beproduct Experience Bachelor’s Degree in fashion design 5-10 years related experience Denim experience necessary
