Role Description The Retail Keyholder is a full-time, on-site role located in New Orleans, LA. This role is responsible for opening and closing the store, securing premises, and ensuring all daily operational procedures are followed. Day-to-day tasks include supporting customer service on the sales floor, assisting with merchandising and restocking, processing transactions at the register, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment. The Keyholder also helps coordinate breaks, supports training of new team members, and communicates store priorities to the team during shifts. This role may assist with inventory counts, receiving shipments, and reporting any safety or loss prevention concerns to management.
Qualifications
Retail or customer service experience, with the ability to provide friendly, attentive, and professional support to all customers.Experience handling point-of-sale systems, cash handling, and basic store operations such as opening and closing procedures.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team and take initiative when leading a shift.Organizational skills and attention to detail for merchandising, inventory tasks, and maintaining store standards.Reliability, punctuality, and a demonstrated ability to follow policies related to safety, security, and loss prevention.Ability to stand for extended periods, move merchandise as needed, and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Prior keyholder or supervisory experience in retail is preferred but not required; willingness to learn and grow into leadership responsibilities is essential.
